5/23/07 Truth Time And The Blowout...
DC Daily is not ashamed to admit that we spent the night with friends watching the season finale of LOST...
The Nationals won 12-7 taking two of three so far with one more to go in Cincy tomorrow night. Ryan Church, Ryan Zimmerman and Schneider go deep, Jason Simontacchi gives up one run over five and a third for the win, Simontacchi (W, 2-2).
Tomorrow night it's Mike Bacsik vs Matt Belisle.
Nationals now 18-29.
Isn't the Nationals' season LOST?

I like that. Humorous, topical, short and to the point, not TOO nasty and is a good straight for a follow-up joke/comic.

Thank God for Lincecum, hey Mr Ballyard? Lincecum, Cain, and Zito? You're going to have a good next few years.
Despite the absence of smoke monsters, hatches, and Party of Five stars, the Nationals have been at least as entertaining as LOST.(After the first two weeks that is admittedly, ooof those were tough weeks.)
Thanks, StanL. I'd like to be short and succinct every night, but then I'd have nothing to do between innings, and I couldn't boost my memory power by trying to remember what's happened each frame when I write it up.
